Our family story
I never imagined I would share my life this way.
But when everything familiar slowly disappeared, staying silent stopped being possible.
I am a father, trying to protect my two year old daughter, Rima, in circumstances no child should experience. Our days are shaped by uncertainty, long waiting, and the constant fear of what tomorrow might bring.
This page was created by friends who wanted Mohammed’s story to be shared in one clear place.
It exists so people can understand his journey, his family’s situation, and the reality they continue to face.
The hope is simple, that one day, this family can reach a calmer and safer chapter of life.
This page is not a campaign.
It is simply a place where our reality is written honestly, without exaggeration or performance.
For those who already followed our story and are looking for the next step.
Our Life in Gaza
In a place that has known constant hardship for years, Mohammed Abusharekh and his family are no longer thinking about leaving.
They are simply trying to make it through each day.

I spent years building a profession and working remotely to provide stability for my family.
My work once gave us routine, dignity, and a sense of normal life.
Today, that chapter feels very far away.
The hardest part of our days now is the constant lack of food.
Rima was only a few months old when this life began for her.
Today, she is two years old, and her world has been shaped by uncertainty, empty plates, and repeated displacement.
She took her first steps surrounded by ruins, learned to fall asleep while hungry, and grew up without the sense of safety every child should know.

Rima has known this life since her earliest days.
She learned to walk surrounded by destruction, and to fall asleep without the comfort every child deserves.
Recently, she became seriously ill, and finding proper care was almost impossible.

Our home, once filled with routine and warmth, no longer exists.
What remains is a family trying to hold on, one day at a time.
If you reached this point, thank you for reading.
Being seen and understood already means more than words can explain.
Many people asked what the next step looks like.
